The question of fees is addressed within our first exchanges with you. Fees are determined based on the nature of the missions to be performed, the complexity of the case, the time spent on the case and the urgency of its treatment.
Fees can be set in three ways:
- Fixed-price service: the fixed-price service includes all the services listed in the quotation. This method of remuneration is used for simple cases in which the tasks to be carried out are determined and known in advance.
- Invoicing on a time-spent basis: the services are invoiced according to a fixed hourly rate. This method of remuneration is generally applied to cases in which it is extremely difficult to anticipate all the services to be performed or to invoice assignments that exceeded the agreed fee quote.
- Result fee: it is possible to combine the fees calculated on a time-spent basis and fixed-price services with a result fee which corresponds to a percentage of the profits or savings made by the lawyer’s intervention.
